Fantasy movie Matha Re Dei Patta Odhani is coming this July

Laxmipuja Production’s odia fantasy movie ‘Matha Re Dei Patta Odhani’ has been scheduled to release in July this year. Producer Anam Charan Sahoo has chosen to keep the movie for the post Rajja release so that it will not have to compete with any other movie.

‘Matha Re Dei Patta Odhani’ is the eighth movie of Laxmipuja Production which is going to be the sixteenth movie of Ollywood this year. Mystery, suspense, fantasy and adventure filled this movie has been screenplayed, shot and directed by Ranjan Mishra. The fantasy story of the movie has been written by producer Anam Charan Sahoo’s wife Laxmipriya Sahoo. Sri Anam Charan Sahoo also has handled another department of the film. For the first time, Sri Sahoo has composed the music of his film Matha Re Dei Patta Odhani. The lyrics are by Arun Mantri and Basant Raj Samal. The songs are sung by Tapu Mishra, Bibhu Kishore, Kumar Bapi, Sailabhama, Sricharan, and Uttam. While Deepak, Nikita, and Easy has been in the lead, Mihir Das, Puspa Panda, Pintoo Nanda, Pradumna Lenka, Jeevan Panda and Easy are there in the movie.

According to the filmmaker, the story of Matha Re Dei Patta Odhani is basically a triangular love story. But it has full of fantastical elements of horror and thriller. Aditya, the main character of the movie, belongs to a zamindaar family. He, however, falls in love with daughter of a potter. He has promised his beloved to gift a ‘patta odhani’. But, time is always unpredictable. Being in an orthodox society, this relationship of Aditya has not been accepted. The couple has been murdered. But the story doesn’t end here so pessimistically. Here the story turns out to be an interesting ride of reincarnation. Yes, Aditya takes birth again but is he able to carry out his given promise this time! This is to be witnessed when audience will enjoy the movie in theatres. With a twist and turn from usual love stories, the movie seems to surely catch audience attention.

Odia actor Pitobash Tripathy’s big bollywood flick ‘Shanghai’

After his role in ‘Shor in the City’, Odia actor Pitobash Tripathy has been widely popular and accepted as an actor of substance in Bollywood. The actor is recently in the news for his bigger role in the upcoming movie ‘Shanghai’. Pitobash will be seen in one of the lead roles of this Dibakar Banerjee’s ambitious movie releasing on 8th June.

Not only this, Pitobash Tripathy will also attend the 13th IIFA Awards in Singapore this year. Last year he had been nominated for best performance in comic role for his superb performance in film 'Shor In The City'. He will also attend the premier of his upcoming film 'Shanghai' during IIFA. After the success of The Dirty Picture, Ollywood this time has planned to make a woman the protagonist of the movie rather than usual man. Gourav Kumar, Deepan, Babli, Lipi, Mihir Das, Aparajita, Bijay Mohanty, Minaketan is reportedly the star cast of ‘Bad Girl’. While Bad Girl’s producer Prabhat Kumar Pradhan has himself coined the story, Bijay Malla has written the dialogues of the movie. The music department is being handled by Sarat Nayak. ‘Bad Girl’ is the fourth movie of album queen Lipi after Om Shanti Om, Tu Mori Paeen and Daddy and it is her second film with Jay Prakash Mohanty as a director. The shooting of the movie has been finished and being scheduled to be released very soon.

Avinash Nanda & Abhimanyu Mishra from Odisha has directed a hindi movie titled ‘Rangdari’. Not only that, Aviram Mishra, the well known cameraman of Ollywood who has already established his name in Bollywood cinema, is the director of photography as well as assistant director of Rangdari. Music of the film is composed by Lalit Pandit. The story and screenplay of Rangdari has been written by Ikram Akhtar who has also written the scripts of films like “Ready”, “Thank You” and “No Problems”etc. The dialogues have been written by Sanjay Masoom. Lyrics of Rangdari movie has been written by Azeem Sheerazi. Gourav Chopra, Shakti Kapoor, Aditya Pancholi, Kiran Kumar, Aman Verma, Alankruta and Kajol are in the cast. Story of Rangdari is based upon the life of a gangster of UP.
